RESULT!
Well... veni, munchie, didn't we... do well!
I have to say one of the more
glittering occasions I've have ever attended.
Prior to the awards we had
a private tour of the Houses of Lords and Commons, and very
interesting it was too! I stood right at the point that our
Leader stands (sitting not allowed as the leather can't take
too much, and in any case who knows what lurks underneath),
and forgot to have my picture taken. Ah well.
That lack of photo archiving
is made up for below, and when the 'official' shots arrive
we'll blow that trumpet, too. Along with fellow winners such
as Citroen and Tesco, so we were in good company.
All,
in all, a worthy night out. Thank you EAST Journal.
